Always add “what decisions gets us closer to being the company/brand/product we want to be?” to the final discussion of any decision - People begin to think differently about the decisions they are about to make. This is a great way to balance short and long and make bringing a vision to life actionable in day-to-day discussions.

It also makes trade-offs more apparent… which most teams overlook.
